A Synth88 Labs Game
Word Hunter started from a simple observation: nobody remembers words from flashcards, but everybody remembers the word that took three hearts and a lucky last shot to bag. So we built a shooting gallery where the targets are letters, the ammunition is your vocabulary, and the prize is a word you'll never forget.
The game
Every round starts with a clue written like a clever friend explaining, never a dry dictionary line. Letter tiles fall from the sky; you shoot the ones the word needs, in any order, and blanks snap gold as they fill. Five hearts, growing streaks, stars per stage, and a journey that spans:
- 2,034 words across 12 subjects, from English and Science to Animals, Birds, and the Countries of the world
- 51 topics, from Palindromes and Spelling Traps to Birds of Prey, Sea Creatures, and world Capitals
- 3 difficulty levels per topic, split into stages of eight words
- Words that live in more than one subject, RADAR is a palindrome and physics; VIRUS infects biology and computing
Private by design
Word Hunter has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. The entire word database ships inside the game, and everything you do, words mastered, stages cleared, stars, best scores, is stored only on your own device. See the privacy policy for the full (short) story.
